The new Open iDEN Java Application Loader tool allows developers to download local and network-aware applications to all iDEN Java-Enabled handsets. This new version removes all access restrictions and supersedes previous versions of this tool. The Open JAL tool will work on all iDEN handsets.

This loader does not require any usernames or passwords, and is fully authorized by Motorola. We do not recommend using any other loaders available on the Internet since we cannot verify that the applications will not cause harm to your device or your personal information.

You can download the iDEN WebJAL client from the Motodev site. The current version of iDEN Java Aplication Loader includes support for Windows Vista as well as the phones launched by NII Holdings in Latin American markets in 2007.
