BlackBerry MDS Studio
The BlackBerry MDS Studio is a new tool for rapid development of native BlackBerry Applications that connect to one or various web services (supported through either WSDLs or SOAP commands). MDS Studio includes a visual development environment, which, in conjunction with a reduced version of ECMAScript (JavaScript), allows a web developer to build a native client-server application without having to learn Java ME.
The attached guide offers a summary of the technical capabilities and the development model of MDS Studio. It is an ideal guide for a Web or WAP developer that would like to develop an application of moderate to high complexity without having to learn Java ME.
The MDS Studio can be downloaded from the BlackBerry developer website: http://www.blackberry.com/developers/downloads/studio/index.shtml.
